The increasing population of English Learners and students of differing cultural backgrounds places increased demand on administrators to foster a supportive learning environment for all students and the teachers who impact them directly.

CELE partners with public, public-charter, vocational, and private schools in urban and rural settings alike to provide district-level support in responding to these demands. CELE’s customized consulting services and professional development trainings take a comprehensive and holistic approach to EL programming design and implementation in schools, agencies, and institutions.

Customized Consulting Services: CELE provides site-based, customized consulting services in a range of areas pertinent to administrators and specialists working with a culturally and linguistically diverse student body. Among the areas we address are:

Professional Learning Communities: Professional Learning Communities are highly interactive educator groups that meet free of charge throughout the school year to discuss common interests and concerns, share curricular and instructional strategies, organize cost-saving joint purchasing of materials, and organize shared professional development.
